24-Hour Care
Qualicum Manor provides each of our 60 long-term residents with quality 24-hour nursing care. Our Director of Care guides this multidisciplinary team that includes our nursing unit, care aides, dietary staff, and housekeeping and laundry personnel. Medical Coordinator Dr. Biglow supplies medical support and expertise.
Professional Nursing Care
Qualicum Manor prides itself on its team of skilled nursing professionals who provide the best possible care for our residents. Our Nursing Unit is led by highly qualified Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses. Working tirelessly to meet our residents’ needs are our qualified Care Aides, who provide compassionate, hands-on, round-the-clock care alongside our professional nursing staff.
Nutritious Meals and Snacks
Our Nutrition Services team is led by our Dietician and Head Chef. Together, they create a delicious, high-quality, locally inspired, and seasonal menu for residents to enjoy as a community. A healthy selection of snacks is available around the clock if someone wants a snack or wishes to entertain visitors.

Recreation Programs
Qualicum Manor offers our residents a wide variety of social and therapeutic programs that promote socialization, wellness, independence and rehabilitation. We develop our monthly activity calendar with input from our residents and their families, encouraging them to participate with their loved ones. Volunteers are always welcome and appreciated. Personal Service
Providing personalized service for our long-term residents is the cornerstone of Qualicum Manor. We work with many community partners to access various amenities including hairdressers, dental hygienists, foot care specialists, massage therapists, and healing touch practitioners.
